GRAND FORKS --- UND has added another piece to its offense for the 2024-25 season.
Dalton Andrew of the Winkler Flyers (Manitoba Junior Hockey League) has verbally committed to playing hockey at UND for this upcoming season. Andrew is fresh off winning the MJHL title with the Flyers. He also led the MJHL in scoring this season, recording 82 points (43 goals, 39 assists) in 54 regular season games.
Andrew was named an MJHL First Team All-Star and was instrumental in the Flyers' run to winning the Turnbull Cup. He co-led the MJHL playoffs in scoring with four goals and ten assists in 15 games.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pound right shot forward will add size and scoring to UND's offense next season.
"For me, this is a childhood dream come true to play for the University of North Dakota," Andrew told the Flyers' webpage.
